1977 Toyota FJ45 R-KJQ, rare three seater factory soft top with aftermarket fiberglass top. Fully rebuilt 2F petrol engine in very good condition. New carbourettor, plus a near new spare. New raditor, electronic distributor, upgraded starter motor and coil.

Dual battery system with Red Arc isolator. Second 90ah deep cycle battery in Projecta box with 12v outlets in tub, hardwired to dash for reserve start. Four speed gear box, diffs and brakes all in very good condition with no leaks. New Toyo Open Country AT tyres, 16in King rims, Carroll springs and greaseable shackles and EFS shocks.

Comes with UHF radio, two jerry cans and holders, Toyota bottle jack, high lift jack, rated mesh cargo barrier, Haynes manual, original 1977 Overlander magazine with feature article and various spares. New quality side mirrors and front indicators. Rollbar, no bows or canvas.

Mechanically A1 with all reciepts including engine rebuild and serviced every 10.000kms. Body in good condition, some bog with minor rust coming through in places - bottom of doors, along one side of tub and below tailgate. Chassis rust free. Six months Tassie rego. This is a very nice truck at a reasonable price but you should not advertise it as a soft top rig if you’re not selling the bows and top with it.
 
Thanks for your input 76 FJ40. I have made it clear in the first sentence of the ad what it is.

It has 50,000kms on the odometer with around 45,000 on the new engine. The price is negotiable.

Thanks for your input 76 FJ40. I have made it clear in the first sentence of the ad what it is. A complete, original (including ragtop) petrol FST is a very rare vehicle here. The later, ex-military HJ47's are more common.

It has 50,000kms on the odometer with around 45,000 on the new engine. The odometer resets back to zero every 100,000km. In keeping with common practice here in Australia the price is negotiable.
