Got the body primed with a second coat and we think that after one more sanding pass, Elsie will be ready for paint!

So today was the day. We finally have paint back on Elsie... Never though the day would come, but here we are! Love the color and for two novices first body work and painting job, we think it looks pretty good. Now just to reassemble, put on the dash cap, and fix the seats. Then it is done?...

After over 3 years of off and on work, we have a 95% done Cruiser. Need to replace the dashpad (got a cap, glue is curing), get the headlights put back in (missing parts), and mount spare. Then there might be some work on the seats in the future, but essentially a pretty restored FJ40. The first picture is form the guy we bought it from and it was from the day that he picked it up, it got to us in pretty much the same shape, but the seats had been reupholstered. Now that is actually going to be on the road I need to get a objective opinion on the price for insurance purposes, so if anyone has any opinions on that I am open to hearing!
