I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure all those circuits you mention having trouble with, pass thru the hazzard $witch. Also, Try adding a good ground wire to good metal of your fixture housings and see if that helps.....

So to add a little more confusion to my problem here.....I noticed from the wiring diagram that Ming provided that all the rear lights are bascially on the same 1 ground. But my I noticed this morning that my right rear side marker light works...but my left rear side marker light is out. Along with rear running lights, break lights and also the rear blinkers. Now the blinkers and tail lights use the same bulb so that seems logical. But that side marker throws me for a loop. I am going to add a new ground for the tail/running lights. but If anyone has any ideas as to what else could be causing this issue I would appreciate the help.

If the wiring is the same as a 40 then it all goes through the hazard switch. I had a similar problem(no turn signals) and pulled my hazard switch apart and cleaned it and now they work great. Might not be your problem, but a place to start.( I could ease my hazard sitch out a little and the turns would start to work.)

I had a weird front left turn signal thing going on for a while, it turned out to be a bad ground. Ground jumper to the metal part of the light fixture bucket solved it. Just sayin. The side marker lights dont go thru the hazzard $witch, but you could have two different problems going... the turn sigs and stop lites go thru the haz $, but the f/r side markers and the f parking lites and tail lites and lic plate lites all come off the tail lite fuse thru the HEADLIGHT $witch.????? maybe the headlight switch, and a bad ground. You should be able to go thru ALL your lite sockets and pull out the bulbs. Then turn your switches on and measure for voltage from the metal ON the socket to the spring terminal IN socket. As you encounter sockets that dont show bat. voltage, then check from GOOD KNOWN SOURCE of ground to the spring terminal, have juice, then add a jumper to ground. If STILL no juice, then chase the wire(s) back and check for volts at each junction point till you find it or get to the $/fuse. Do you have lic. plate lites? Hope this isn't too unhelpful :meh:

This is gold IMO. Thank you so much for breaking this down Big Purple Dinosaur style for me. After all I am a Marine. I will give this a whirl and see what happens. Now to buy a voltmeter.

get a quality Volt Ohm Meter. Make sure it does DC as well as a/c. If you get the one w/ the ability to read ohms, you can check for wire condition and continuity as well as read volts. They make combo meters that read a/c or d/c volts and ohms and have a clamp type of apparatus that can be opened and clamped around any given wire to read the amp draw as well. You can spend endless amounts of money on these, or buy the worlds biggest piece of cheap crap for next to nothing. I floss the Fluke brand, but would also spend money on a Greenlee, or UEI, or last, an Ideal. Prolly between fitty and a hondo bux will get one that you can use on your house car boat lumpgrinders and chingidderros. :)
