Same owner for 18 years. A lot of money and time has been put into this Cruiser, and everything from the radiator to the rear end has either been repaired or replaced. It is a really nice driving Cruiser, very reliable, and mechanically it is in excellent condition. I’ve added some updates and improvements, but otherwise I tried to keep it as original as possible. All it needs is some body work and paint to finish it.

1996 - The original 3 speed transmission was replaced with an overhauled 4 speed. New fuel tank.

Oct 2004 – Redid the brake system and replaced all 4 drum brakes with disc brake conversion kit from BTB products. They work great and are a very nice upgrade.

May 2005 – Complete engine rebuild of the original F engine, and new starter motor. This work was all done at 16503 miles on the odometer, so there are less than 5000 miles on the rebuilt engine. Work done by Merriam Automotive in Duluth – specializes in Land Cruisers. Cost over $5000.

Aug 2006 – Redid the steering. Rebuilt center arm, top drag link, steering box, and tie rod ends. Steering is nice and tight.

Nov 2006 – Rebuilt front seats with new foam and seat covers. New clutch, pressure plate, pilot and throw out. Rebuilt transfer case. Front axle rebuild. Rear differential rebuild. Rebuild emergency brake. New engine mounts. New headers, New original style carburetor (manual choke). Electronic ignition installed. Power steering installed - This is also a very nice upgrade and makes the truck a lot easier to handle. Old Man Emu leaf springs with 2.5” lift installed. New radiator. All emissions equipment has been removed, but in Georgia it is exempt from emissions inspection because of it's age.

Dec 2006 – New soft top installed.

Feb 2007 – New front floor pans and rockers. Herculine front floor area.

Mar 2007 – New BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A 33x10.5 tires and rims.

Jun 2009 – Air conditioner kit from Vintage Air installed. Center console from CCOT installed, and new AM/FM CD player with removable face plate.

Over $18,000 invested in just the last few years. Most of the work was done by Urban Land Cruisers in Atlanta, and I have receipts and records. Also have shop manuals and owners manual. This Cruiser does not have rear jump seats and hard top. All the gauges and lights work properly. The windshield wiper on the driver’s side works, but the passenger side doesn’t.
Lots more pictures available.

Really nice!

May I ask how you managed to install the A/C and the alternator on the passenger side on the F engine?

I plan to do the same. I'm not buying a Vintage Air because I sourced an old Nippon Denso condenser, I will however have to buy and install all the engine compartment parts. Can you help? do you have more pictures of that install?

Thanks!
