Because that’s what the KS highway patrol called it when I had it titled. I think because the VIN plate had a 1973 build date on it. TBH, it took 6+ months, a quiet title petition, multiple visits to the KHP, and an act of God before I was able to get it titled, so I didn’t ask any extraneous questions. KS is a weird state.

All that aside, mechanically this is a solid truck. I’m proud of the work I did/had done to get it where it was when I sold it. I intended to keep it, so I didn’t cut corners. $33k seems a bit aggressive, especially for a truck without a top, but it looks like they did quite a bit of work to get it where it is, so I guess I get it.

ah ok, I've been in a similar situation with Landrover Defender 110, just happy to get it titled. Everything looks nice, it was just the year that thru me off
