My '73 came with a custom family roll bar. The longer rear seats look a little funky sitting on the outside of the roll bar. I am planning to fix up my floor pan this winter and paint a liner on it. I figure this is when I need to make a decision on the roll bar.

Options...
1. no roll bar
2. Reinstall custom roll bar
3. Find an OEM roll bar...then look for small jump seats (found an OEM roll bar for sale. $200)

Thoughts/advice...

Think it depends on how often and how many passengers on the back. On my 68 I added 74 bucket seats, 76 jump seats and a 79 roll bar. The 78+ roll bars are set up for three point seat belts which I use a the time verses passengers in the back.

No, I bought it with a custom family roll bar.. not sure if I should keep it as is or convert it over when I redo the floor.

Looks like the roll cage you currently have is more beefy than the OEM roll bar. I'd keep it and find a set of 75-later jump seats. Or just get a forward facing seat. If you have room to store the long seats, I'd hang on to them.
