I got this FJ40 (Myrtle) 10 years ago and had her fully restored (frame-off) by Scott Gesik at Restored FJ40 in Lincoln City, OR in 2011. Seats are not original. I had some work done in 2016 by Marshall at Trollhole Cruisers in Greenville to make her more driveable. I put in a 4 speed transmission, added a headliner and tow hitch, and removed all rusty spots. She drives great, is in beautiful shape with very minimal rust. Just had the brakes restored last month. I have been driving her daily for years but she is now in dry storage in Asheville, NC. $25,000 – serious inquiries only please. I can send more pics if you are interested. Thanks!

How did rust develop between the frame off restoration in 2011 and the rust removal in 2016? Was the paint not done during the restoration in 2011?

There are "drain" holes in the front floor that were open and allowing water to come up from underneath when driven in the rain. These were plugged and Rhino liner put into the floor. Paint was done well in 2011.
