I am selling my 1973 FJ40 Project. I would prefer selling this as a complete package. Here are the details:
The engine has been running, but not for about a year. Wiring is nearly complete, but lights, turn signals, etc are functional. Brake lines have been run, but are not complete. Sale includes multiple driveshafts, but none will work for the front. Sale also included a ton of spare parts.
The FJ40 is about 90% complete, but it is not driveable. The FJ has been partially painted gray since the attached photo was taken. I had to move, otherwise I would not sell. Asking $3000.

I am selling my 1973 FJ40 Project. I would prefer selling this as a complete package. Here are the details:
- Rust free frame w/ shackle reverse and power steering (Fab work completed by professional)
- Axles – SOA with new rear springs, MAF/Wilwood front discs, Chevy rear discs
- 4x4 Labs Crossover steering with 1ton Chevy tierod ends.
- Body – All steel no rust, but far from perfect. Rear wheel wells have been cut for clearance. Front clip is complete and in good shape.
- Engine – Freshly rebuilt Chevy 350, TBI Fuel injection
- Brand new 4 core radiator
- Transmission – SM465 (Original Toyota, and a Turbo 350 with AA adapter included in sale)
- Metal Tech Full Roll Cage – Tack welded in, but not complete. Factory roll bar included.
- Full soft top and bikini top included
- 33x12.5 on American Racing wagon wheels
- 1 Set of Steel Full doors and 1 set of partially completed ½ doors
- Clean WI Title (Vehicle located in Milwaukee Area)
