Does anyone know of a "craftsman" who can help correct a '73 FJ40 diamonded frame around the panhandle of Florida?

I have no answer to your question, but I do have a question of my own. What the heck is a "diamonded frame"?View attachment 4095095
In my instance, it’s when one frame rail is ahead or behind the other. When you measure two set points diagonally on opposite sides they should equal the same and mine don’t. If all were equal it would be “square” but because they don’t equal the same, even though not visible, it creates a “diamond” shape

Anyone with a frame machine and a copy of the frame dimensions from the service manual could manage it. "Could" being the operative word.

Actually, it is a parallelogram... Or possibly worse, a not-so parallelogram...

FIFY... ;)

As mentioned, a frame shop should be able to help you out.

You are correct my fellow mathematician! I've called every "custom" and body shop around here and no one wants to even look at it with the exception of two that I finally got a hold of this week. Going to drive it over to them and get a feel for what they are capable of.

So many places just want to do insurance work these days and no custom/restoration work.
