Toyota Land Cruisers have been around forever and there is a reason for that, their style and quality cannot be beat. This FJ has been to Mexico and back. It also has been used in a photoshoot with Kelly Slater. Ellen Degeneres offered to buy it in Santa Barbara. This FJ has seen a lot but now it's your turn to take this masterpiece and enjoy it for the rest of your life.
Body and Interior
The body, frame, chassis, and rails are straight and solid. It's a very reliable easy to maintain truck that's gets you anywhere you need. The whole exterior has a beautiful red patina on it and has seen most of the world. The paint adds character to the car making it look period correct. The interior is very original. No rips or tears!
Engine and Transmission
This Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by its original 3.8L inline six cylinder engine. Currently the car starts right up and runs but water is mixing with the oil which will cause it to overheat if driven for a certain extent. The whole head has been gone through. It has a manual transmission and is in excellent condition.
Wear and Tear
To my knowledge the car has spent its life in sunny California. The FJ has original paint with patina that cant be replicated. It has seen many miles throughout its life but still has many more to come. The brakes don't work the best so the vehicle should be towed. As far as rust, there is some in your typical FJ locations such as the back panels but no holes or cancer in the floors which is very rare.
Title and Registration
I have a clean California title (rainbow pink slip) and registration is current. It's a very original FJ unlike others on the market. This FJ runs but will need some work to pursue the adventures you have dreamed of. It is fun to drive and ready to enjoy as-is. It has loads of character that's hard to duplicate.
