My loss your gain. I have a 1972 FJ40 project vehicle for sale. Please read all the info. The truck is NOT running but here is what I have please read before asking questions (I am selling the entire truck, NOT willing to sell it piece by piece, need the money quick) :
+The truck was originally a bone stock 1972 Toyota FJ40. (Smog Exempt) I still have all the body panels, windshield, the hardtop, and the doors for it. I even have the old stock heater.
I DO NOT have the 2F Engine, 3 spd tranny and transfer, the stock axles, or stock wiring harness.
+ I have one complete 1kzte out of a 1993-1995 KZN130 (it is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel from a 1993 Toyota 4runner) with auto tranny, computer, and wiring harness purchased as a half cut from Jarco Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. I have the receipts for it.(It was running when they pulled it. Since I have mounted the drive train it has been stored in my garage and all the pipes and hoses have been sealed to keep out vermin and debris.). The entire drive train had 90,000 kilometers on it when it was pulled.
+ The front axle is a Currie Enterprises rebuilt full size Dana 44 that is trussed and has an ARB air locker with 4.11 gearing built by Currie Enterprises. Also has Warn Manual Locking Hubs. New disc brakes with new calipers. It is a flat top knuckleD44 with cross over steering.
+ The front end has a custom built 3 link setup. (two link arms and one “wish bone” arm, total of 7 hiem joints used) All done with heim joints (these are the biggest and strongest heim joints on the market, I bought all of them from ORW, all the joints, jam nuts, bungs, and spacers) and chromoly tube. link arms are powder coated black.
+ The rear axle is a full size Currie Ford 9”High Pinion with a custom chromoly truss and a True Trac Posi with 4.11 gearing also built by Currie Enterprises. Brand new Currie Enterprises disc brakes
+ The rear end is a 4 link setup (four arms, total of 8 heim joints used). All arms are done with heim joints (same as the ones on the front end) and chromoly tube link arms are powder coated black. The rear end has also been relocated for longer wheel base to match the wider axles and make a more stable platform. The rear fender has been cut to appear stock and allows more clearance for the bigger tires.
+I have a foldable and removable bench seat for the rear that was originally from a Jeep TJ. Great condition.
+The front seats are PRP full suspension seats that come with sliders. Brand new, never used
+ I have a set of blue Crow Racing 4 point seat belts with mounting hardware, these are brand new, and also some other older 4 point belts for the rear passengers.
+ The shocks are King Coilovers 14” x 2.5” in the front and King Coilovers 16” x 2.5” in the rear. The front shock bodies are used but in great condition, the front coils are new and have never been used. The rear shock bodies are new and the rear coils are new, neither have been used. These shocks have not been use since I bought them 5 years ago. Also have 2 used, but in good shape, Fox bump stops.
+ Wheels are Weld Racing aluminum rims in good shape. Tires are 35 x 12.50”, they are ****py tires that are pretty worn. Just use them to keep the chassis rolling.
+ Steering column and steering box is out of a stock 1993 Toyota 4Runner. Steering wheel is a Grant.
+ Light Bar with 4 Hella offroad lights
+ Custom full roll cage.
+ Custom engine cage/shock hoop.
+ I have a whole set of white VDO gauges complete with gauge harness that have never been used.
+ also have a buncha other parts from the half cut.
+ I am in San Diego.
