1972 fj 40 wiper post/pivot/sleeve question

I have a 72 fj 40. Im sorting out my wipers and my slave side has a bent tip on the end of the pivot where the nut holds the wiper arm on. I have a spare gear, but the sleeve is a mess, but the post with the gear is good inside. I cant get the gear with pin out. I've tried heat, penatrating solvent, twisting, pulling and even gentle tapping with a drift fron the front going back. It gets galf way and stops. now I got is soaking in ultrasonic cleaner. Failing that I could dremel the sleve off and replace, it looks like a standard brass pipe nipple, can anyone confirm this?

@thundermcawesum sells replacement sleeves. So if you end up damaging yours in the disassembly, it’s not the end of the world.

If you are an early to mid FJ40 wiper motor, probably not good.

A recent customer of mine was not happy with the condition of the pivot tube threads on a pair of motors I restored, so I decided it was high time I upped my resto game. Just about every unit I have come across has had some degree of thread damage.
