Yikes. $3500 isn't the price if you're in a hurry. I'm petrified of spiders, that alone would deter me from picking this pig up. If the interior was mint and the exterior looked like it did, or vice-versa I think the price would be justified.

The pig is the most solid and unmolested one I have seen in person. It has the standard front fender rust.

It is packed in a yard with 30 other vehicles and trailers, etc. Look at the picture of the PTO winch and you can see how close everything is. He is suppose to move it this weekend since he sold a few 55 Chevy cars and has to get them out. He is suppose to call me when it is a little more out in the open so I can look under it.

Anything specific I should look at?

Just go buy it Dan. You know you want to. Besides the sooner this sells the sooner I can forget about buying myself. Even though it would make a nice road trip and get to visit with some great guys. I really don't need to store another project in my backyard. I can see my wife ended up like this poor lady, yard full of broken down vehicles and the husband dies:rolleyes:

Come and buy it. I can pick it up for you, if you want, and keep it at my place until you can make the trip or until I can make to your place.

I just hate to think of Darrell mving vehicles around with a lawn mower and a home made fork lift. I know the next time I see this, there is going to be a big dent on the rocker panels.

:hhmm:My birthday is coming up:idea: I do have a few parts for this early 55 I've collected over the years.

I guess I don't understand why this isn't gone already. I see this as a diamond in the ruff. Keep me undated if she drops the price anymore I might not be able to help myself.

Mot I don't think my wife would let me WILL my old cruisers away after all the money I've spent over the years. But you never know:rolleyes: While I do have many different models sitting parked all of them Land Cruiser. Which means she will only have to deal with guys off of one web site:flipoff2: I'm just trying to keep it simple for her. I know I really a nice guy:rolleyes:

yes, a diamond in the rough it is, but i still think it's high for a rig that's been sitting. if it was streetable right now, than i think it would be worth it.

Ok... I looked at the photo's again.... if the body is as solid as it looks. Then 1500 wouldnt be to bad. You always have something that needs to be done on an old pig... and if body work isnt one of them, thats a good thing... sorry I should have looked closer.

Any idea on shipping $$$$$

Any idea on an estimate for shipping to the east coast? Can't find a PIG on the east coast without serious rust. Sounds like it could be streetable with little work. Might be worth shipping since I could save on the bodywork expense if I bought a rust bucket local. How bad is the roof?
