I would disagree. For 27k I would like to see the details. It's a forum, not Twitter :zilla:

This is my favorite part:

"If your looking for a perfect condition trailer queen, this isn't the one. You'll need to bring more money to the table if you want one of those."

If this is 27 grand, I wonder how much a trailer queen costs?

Trailer Queen has the bezel right side up......

It's a nice truck except for a few glaring details that will keep you from getting top dollar, IMHO: Not a stock color, and I'm not trying to be offensive here, but I hate the ICON wanna-be stuff. A black roof? If you want iconography, it's gotta be a white roof - white roof is also functional to keep interior heat down. Non-stock steering wheel. I hate 'em. They never look right is a 40.

But good luck with sale!

:D

Thanks spike strip. I personally didnt like the white roof so decided to go for the black and silver look. Actually came out really nice and i get loads of compliments. Even got suggestions to put on black rims and tint the windows. Top is a 1 piece fiberglass top from Gozzard Composites. Really happy with it. I dont have to worry about water penetrating the top in various locations. I hear you on the steering wheel. Didnt have the original when I bought it ans they want a fortune for one. Thanks for looking.

Funny, but a couple high dollar ones that went through Barret Jackson last time had the bezel upside down.

It’s a very clean truck, done how the owner likes it. Nothing wrong with that. Everyone on here has a truck done how they like it. Does not appeal to everyone, and no one likes every detail on everyone else’s truck. But I think constructive comments are always welcome.

There’s a buyer for everything.

Well put shes mad. Didnt even realize the bezel was upside down. Bought it that way. No problem fixing that. Ive had it for a year with intentions to hunt with it but it turned out so good fixing it up that I didnt feel like thrashing it in the woods. Had alot fun working on it but now its got to go. The next owner will really enjoy driving around in this classic.

Coached high school football for 30 years.... I’m a football guy. I’ve never really cared that much for ‘futbol’ (soccer) but my daughter played and the guy that coached soccer at the school I worked at was a friend plus... I certainly appreciated and applauded the dedication and hard work the kids put into it (soccer).

So, with your truck, even though there are a few things I can say I don’t care much for (I lean toward the 40 looking more like it did off the assembly line) I certainly appreciate and applaud the effort you put into your vision of this rig and wish you luck with selling it!

I too lean towards assembly line original condition. Didnt have the time and money to bring it back to original. This ones not too far from original actually. Wouldnt take much to get it back to original. Body, frame, suspension, drivetrain, .....all original. Kept most of the original parts i replaced. Thanks for your comments.

All, don’t get me wrong — I wish nothing but the best for the OP for selling his rig. I do think posting on this forum (while expanding your audience for a potential sale) comes with certain trade-offs. Primarily, you will get honest opinions and assessment of the vehicle you have for sale. I was tongue in cheek in my comment on the paint color, but many potential buyers will not know what is an oem color or not. It should be noted that 27 THOUSAND DOLLARS is a huge grip of money for a cruiser. Nearly rust free Survivors can be had in that range...As far as I can tell from photos, while it’s a nice ride, it’s very very far from original and prospective buyers should know that it’s quite involved to get it “back to original” — anyway — good luck in selling and you came to the right place to get feedback on the truck ( good OR bad )
