craigslist 1970 FJ40 $3000, Tyler, TX

I've given up on finding the time for this project. I have it on Craig's;

1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

But the jist of it is; Pretty solid body. Some rust. Needs new rear corners. Needs wiring help. Runs, but Weber needs tuning. Needs exhaust gaskets. Parts of floor glassed and lined by PO. Orig F. 3spd and xfer case both converted to floorshift by PO. Front converted to discs, brackets and rotors for rear discs included. Mini-truck booster and firewall bracket for power brakes included. (4) orig seats. (3 ) not mounted, nor recovered, but included. New tailgate latch included. Additional 4spd and xfer case will be included. Brand New Gear Reduction starter. Not street legal at the moment. Could be cool trail truck or driver. I was going to restore, but have run out of time. Someone please finish my project.

Located in Tyler, TX. Asking $3000.

Man, tough times huh? 126 views and not 1 comment. Tell me something, anything. Anything but "give it away". It needs work, but is certainly saveable. I'm not looking to make any money here. I'm asking what I have into the truck and some of the parts I've collected for it.

Has our lust for these steel play toys been that effected by the economy? Maybe I'll just put it back under the carport and wait it out? I am very blessed not to have to sell it. Just figured someone else could make something out of it.

Any useful thoughts/comments?
