Upholstery was finally completed. Few missing screws but it’s done for the most part.

Need to mount the 4 individual jack rod clips. Does anyone have pictures of location where these need to go?

LOVE the job you did on this. Amazing patina preservation. Have you put anything a la fluid film etc on to shine her up?
What's the lift height? I'm looking to do similar and dig the stance. Also, how hard is it to recover the seats?

Sorry for the very late reply. I use patina sauce on it.

I'm just getting caught up on this build thread and have to say I like what you've done! After a few full on restorations of different trucks I then shifted to restore the mechanicals and leave the patina if possible. Unfortunately there was just too many areas with full on rust through on my current 73 to pull that off this time around.

I would consider this a full resto and mechanical resto minus exterior paint.

Exterior tells all the stories on this rig from its years at Edwards Air Force Base as a mech support vehicle to its latest years and past few owners.

Once I decide to pass it along I hope the next person appreciates it as is or it is also ready for exterior repaint to complete the restoration.

My philosophy is that any vehicle is only ever truly new once so enjoy them at whatever level works for you.
Sound philosophy.

Anyone who views this thread, interested in this style build please reach out to me about taking it over and purchasing. I have a few people interested but also have not done an official for sale thread.
