1969 fj40. $9,200.00. Modifications, vehicle with many parts. Vehicle has a 1975 running gear which has some modifications. All four leaf springs are Rancho leafs with less than 2000 miles on them. Front leaf’s are spun 180 degrees, and rear leaf mounts are moved back four inches, making a 102 inch wheel base. A 203 doubler from a Blazer was added to the H42/Transfer case line to make a 60 to 1 crawl ratio, added two shift sticks for a total of 4, one for the H42 Standard (1975) tranny, and one for the first low gear speed, and one for the second gear speed, and one for the front/rear/all four drive line selection. The H42 tail drive shaft was cut short, and a “spud gear” was manufactured and housed to adapt the H42 to the 203 doubler, and the tail shaft of the 203 was replaced with the correct shaft to fit the input of the original (1975) transfer case. Tires are, all five, TOYO Open Country, load range E, LT 315/75R16’s, All five tires have 75% or better tread left. Wheels are Les Schwab Steel rims, 6 bolt, 16 inch by 8(might be 7). Vehicle has original double slave brakes on all four wheels. An Offenhauser 4BL intake manifold, plus a 650 CFM Edlebrock 4BL carb. Warn 8274-50 winch, rebuilt at Oregon factory, not used since rebuild. Vehicle has e-brake installed and functional, original factory system on the tail stock of the rearward transfer case. All window glass is good. Dash is completely modified. Power steering added, with steering shaft modification. Digital running and tail light conversion. Warn locking hubs. ARB Lckrs F/R. OBA-ARB, 6" lift, SUA, 1f eng, rancho leafs, 60:1 crawl ratio, 102 inch WB. Top rack and fenders remove for narrow profile on the trail, attach to threaded inserts. Front and rear bumpers are hand made. Soft top with rack included. Half doors included. Clear title. Rear pinion and ring gear need replaced, two sets of parts included, currently running on front wheel drive only, needs repair, ARB Locker in rear diff needs functionality and some minor repair. Distributor needs electronic points, parts included. Exhaust header has cracked pipes on four lines, needs repaired. Front left steering control arm, at birfield, has one broken bolt of four, parts included, needs repair. H42 Tranny has one of two problems, either the syncro is bad, or the clutch system is broken, resulting in an inability to shift gear to gear, spare H42 transmission provided, needs repair. All spare parts must go with the vehicle. All documentation/manuals must go with vehicle. And, yes, the last trip over Naches Trail was a rough one. Vehicle will need to be trailer'd away with all parts. and documentation. The vehicle in my profile pic and description, is this fj40.
