I have a 1964 short bed 45 I've been working on for about 7 years now. I think I won't ever finish it and it deserves someone to finish it.

Cab was a fixed top cab, now it has the upper half of the back of the cab cut off to look more like the removable top version. Roof panel is gone. Windshield frame and glass are in good condition. Full doors are in good condition. Rocker panels rusted badly.

Bed is a reproduction of the stock bed. Pretty good copy. Bobbed 16". I didn't like how much rear overhang it had behind the wheel well- so it cut it off.

Bobbed the frame to match. Just behind rear spring hangers.

Stock leaf springs, shackle reversal performed.

Scout II steering box.

Motor mounts welded in for small block Chevy.

No transmission crossmember.

No seats.

Dash is all intact and original.

Started a roll-cage profiled like the Metal Tech cage to follow the dash and windshield profiles. Kickers go clear back to back of bed.

Stock tail gate with hardware.

SOR fiberglass tailgate NIB.

Stock later model hood. Original split hood gone.

No fenders.

Have fender aprons, have bezel, headlights, radiator, etc.

Engine and axles listed separately.

$2500 OBO, located in Elkhart, IN.

Pictures to follow.

Had some interest, but nothing definite yet.

Still available.

A buddy of mine owns a logistics company. He could deliver it to your driveway. Don't let distance stop you!

check out what it might be to ship it to 89410 biz addy with a forklift. thanks man

$1400 from my door to yours, with a forklift loading it here and a forklift unloading it at your end. I didn't realize shipping could be so much, but that's what he gets for a mini-van sized load and since this would take the place of one of his "paying customers", he needs to get that amount.

Probably enough to be a deal breaker, unfortunately.

Make an offer... this thing's not getting younger.;)

If we can find someone willing to throw it on a trailer and Mudship it down, I'm still first in line!! Anyone headed down for LSLC Roundup next month??

I could deliver it to Dallas on a trailer for about $500 to cover fuel and overnight stay somewhere halfway there and back.

You wanna do $1800 for the truck, plus $500 for delivery? I haven't taken a good road trip in a while.

todd- you're going to need to move pretty darn quick! I've already talked (and pretty much committed) to Shane in Dallas, TX about him buying it and he and I have a tentative plan, although no money has changed hands yet.

He's excited to have it, but I think he'd understand if there was another deal that involved much less effort on my part.

Hey Luke...sent you a PM. Should be pretty easy to get a temporary tag on my end, so it sounds like the FJ45 is coming to live in TX.
Todd...I wish there was an FJ45 for each of us but there's just one. I've been hunting for a SWB for years and I just can't find anything in the area. Its going to be a ton of work, but I've got a pretty good stash of parts:)
