Looks great and I love the color. I was just in Ogden not to long ago with my 63 SWB picking up a M416 military trailer from smith and edwards.

We left it in place and tried to touch it as little as possible. Will try to restore and fill in where it has cracked somehow.

I drive by Smith & Edwards every day on my way to work... you could spend years exploring that place.

x2 on what Dallas said about the rear window rubbers.

I was wondering about plastic smithing a mold that I can pour liquid latex into. But how to stabilize the latex and UV protect? I haven't gotten that far, just gathered all the plastic smithy tools and have yet to try it out.

I think those sliding glass windows are some of the coolest things on the truck. I just hope the rubber can last.

first link shows how new parts are made ( sorry german text)

Right, what I meant was that if I was going to have them go through the effort on a batch of the sliding glass rubbers I would see what else I could get them going on as well.

I have purchased reproductions of the bug catcher rubber from other people that have done this. Just trying to see what other items are not out there that have not been done yet.

I am just going to go down to my local camper / topper store this week and see what I can find as far as rear window stripping goes. If i can combine some parts store gaskets with a topper shell gasket and get it operational and looking good, I'll be happy.
