Looking for the knob for the 4 w.d. shift cable. Believe they had these up to 67. If you got a knob you can part with let me know. It's the knob in the pic that say "F.D." Thanks

Georg, I don't remember if the later model F.D. knobs like yours were threaded like the earlier ones, but I have a feeling they were not.

Just trying to help.:)

If you get a chance can you check on that threaded deal. I know my cable needs to have the threaded knob, just don't know if this changes over the years or not.

Just check SOR's page and it shows them as changing around 67 for my cable and then onto a couple various other cables.

Just checked stock and compared the early and late F.D knobs---same thread, so if you don't need to go complete stock the one that Georg has will work. Don't forget the small jamb nut on the rear of the knob which keeps the knob centered and from falling off. If you have to have a knob from 63-67 please pm me as I have some. HTH John Pardi

My 40 is not stock anyway so I'll get the one georg has.
