I just posted the following in "Parts for Sale":

I’ve bought parts from a guy in Andrews NC with a warehouse full of FJ40 parts after I saw a couple of posts / links here; see below. His name is Greg and he can be reached at 706-897-2190. He does not use a computer nor does he have a smart phone, so the best thing is to call him. His prices are fair and he is very honest. He’ll describe the condition of the parts and any issues in great detail. I just came back from a trip there and I’m posting this to help him sell off his remaining parts. He has been selling Cruisers and Cruiser parts for a number of years, but is now looking to sell it all.
He also has a 1959 FJ25 soft top that is for sale for $3,500.

Looks a project to make look like a FJ25 but not a restore back to 25. Steering column is from a post 72. Not sure what bell housing that is but doesn't look like Toyota. Front hubs appear to be from a disc brake axle. All drum brakes had course spline. Here is another picture of it from a different thread. Not sure what is up with the gas fill. We have pictures of a 56 suviver in Peru and it has the gas fill on the other side like all the other FJ25s. Like I said it's not a candidate to be restored back to stock. Is it worth $3,500

Good eye on the gas fill. I didn't have time to check it out when I was there and I know little about 25s. It does have a SBC drivetrain as well as some newer Toyota parts as you noted. He does have a 1964 Toyota drivetrain to go with it (I know not correct).

If you look at #110 (p6) in the 25 count thread I think it is the same truck (note the gas fill). The pic looks like his warehouse, he is in NC and he has had it a long time. Maybe Cruiser_Nerd who posted #110 or some other 25 folks know some of the history on it. Maybe a good candidate for a resto mod. I have no skin in the game, just trying to help a guy out.

The white rig looks like his 1976 FJ45, & the grayish part on the left looks like the FJ25. Just wanted to clarify this .... Any questions, pls call Greg at 828-361-4310.

I spoke with Greg and the reason there is a gas fill on the driver side is the PO installed a second gas tank. So the factory gas fill is still on the passenger side.
