I will post some pictures in a couple weeks. I have a bunch of work travel in the next three weeks, so my "cruiser time" will be slim (Shanghai and Dublin trips back to back - ugh)

Thanks all...

Exile, i am about to put on some rims with a 2.75 backspacing with some 33's. I see your tires stick out a good ways...i know you have a lift but did you have a lift prior to getting those wheels? If not did you have any rubbing?

I bought five 15x8" steel rims from Summit, with a 2" backspacing. They drop-shipped them straight from the manufacturer, US Wheel, and they came raw (had them powdercoated the OEM gray). Fit great, look great. Five rims shipped were $278. Holes are the common "wagon wheel" triangles with rounded corners.

Do you have the stock steelys? Im running 32 11/50 15s on stock rims no lift no rub what so ever even at full stuff.
This is my 62 sorry for img size.

Are those tires the pro-comps?

Im running the rock crawler 97s on my 62, i love em. They have the lip on the inside that interferes with the caliper, but i get em in 3.75 in backspacing so im running a 1/4" spacer to clear the tie rod. The spacer is so small im not worried about wearing out my bearings more than usual, and once you get the wheel tightened down a couple times the spacer takes a set to the rotor, i had to pry them off when i switched to my street tires last week. Best of all, i barely had to touch the calipers. It just barely cut into the paint, not even into the metal. A couple passes with a file and it clears perfect.

Just food for thought.

What is with all the thread resurrections recently. Since this has been bumped i still like my wheels, they have a little rock rash on the lip but otherwise fine.
