You gonna come visit us @slacker24-7? Would love to visit with ya man!

Cool deal , I figured you had checked into it ... I sent some info to Andy on it as well, that differs a little from that. With this quote,

“Any organized event/group needs a permit (depending on size for non-profit). But definitely all for profit events is required for permit with a fee also insurance is required.

Hot Springs phone number to the Supervisor Office is 501-321-5259 - Bud Ashmoore can help direct you to the person that will help get the type of permit need.”

I’ll drop it , but just didn’t want anyone in trouble. Thanks, Dave

I appreciate it. I briefly looked into it and started to come up with another plan until I saw I what I posted. IANAL so I read until I find something official looking that gives me the answer I want and then I go with that. They do have things posted elsewhere that you could interpret to mean you need a permit for anything. I’m bringing some trash bags and will clean up where we stop, no one is going to leave the roads, there’s no organized plan to even stop and eat lunch all together, etc... Just some dudes in expensive pants driving down public roads being #EAF.

I’d love to Jeff and hopefully I can, but I have trip to Utah the prior couple of weeks and uncertain when I’ll get back, but hopefully I can get down for a day or so ,I’d sure like to hang with you guys... honey bear, that’s a great plan, just keep the groups small and I’m sure you will be fine... sounds like a excellent time !

So my dodge 3500 tow rig isn’t welcome??

Is there still room on this outing?

Think we may plan to tag along on this one then.

And maybe we can say hi to a ranger so I can claim educational trip so we can get an excused absence for the little :princess:...

GPX route of the national park route attached for the run. Depending on how many people ultimately are in for this, we may just be sending 5-ish trucks out every 10 minutes or so. So go ahead and download the file and import it into your GPS or GPS app on your phone.

Is GAIA the preferred App for map use? I'm still #NAF to the whole #EAF scene so I was going to download the app to the ipad and phone to see how it works. TIA

I use GAIA and our resident Expensive Pants #EAF expert @wngrog uses it as well.

here's a overview of Gaia some of it is a bit simplistic, but he shows a bit of what the app can do and how to plan a trip etc.,
