1400 Mile Trip with New (used) 1984 Cruiser What should I take??

it is summer and your not going to freeze to death.

Bring a cell phone and AAA card.

Yah stop and buy some supplies.

I would also want to have a good peek at the steering tie rods an all there.


just keep checking all the fluids each day till your home.



Buy a couple gallons of water to take in the cruiser. Double purpose, rad and you if you break down.


I also bring a nice bottle of scotch. for the evening of course.

Thanks for the pointers on road trips however my trip is already over and it was successful. No problmes. Infact the cruiser has gone another 1200 miles across the country to north central florida. So its now a beach cruiser. Thanks for the inisghts.
