Home at last
Sorry its taken so long. I was going to post a final trip report last evening however I got home after working on my cruiser and running some errands and my house had been robbed. They took my computer, xbox, and dvd player. I'm really pissed b/c the computer had all of my pictures from the last couple of years. *&^%*&
Anyways. The cruiser ran great and no appart problems! While driving through Kansas there were several SUV's that had spun off the road and were stuck. However none of them were cruisers. Go figure... As I was driving by one such stuck vehicle I saw a FJ62 coming in the opposite direction on I70 and we both gave each other a knowing wave as we speed in opposite directions. Long live the Cruisers.
While in Ft. Collins my brother in law and I went to Lory state park and while riding to the park in the cruiser he asked why cruisers were so popular. At the time I stated for their reilbility, off road ability, and cool stylings. In hind sight after completing my trip the reason cruisers are so popular is because you can by one and drive it cross country in extreme conditions and not do a thing to it. I love my new cruiser!
So now begins the tough task of body work and a new clutch. Thanks for your support and insights into my succusfull trip.
