I’m chasing an oil leak issue and could use some advice!
After a long drive, I consistently find a small puddle of engine oil under my car. I’ve already replaced all oil lines and copper washers going to and from the vacuum pump. The vacuum pump itself is completely dry on the outside and shows no signs of leakage. I’ve also checked and confirmed that the main gaskets (oil pan, timing cover, and side cover) are all dry. I’ve cleaned the entire engine multiple times to try and pinpoint the source.
The only thing I keep seeing is fresh oil dripping from underneath the alternator area. It seems to collect and drip from there, but I cannot trace the exact origin.
Has anyone experienced something similar on a 12HT? Any common leak points in that area I might be missing (oil feed, breather, pump seal, etc.)?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I tried to make some pictures with the points were the oil 'collectes'
