I've been looking at all the neat classic used wheel sets on Yahoo Auctions here in Japan....that width an offset makes much more sense now. Even Rays is pushing an 18x8 +20 at the 120 series:

Thank you! I did a decent amount of trimming liners and tabs on the front bumper it’s super close to the body mount but doesn’t rub I can pretty much full lock it without any rubbing now

Picked up this 2005 around Thanksgiving 2017 as a winter vehicle for the Family with only 62k miles on the clock, one owner.
Finally got some wheels & tires. Doing lots of little maintenance items here and there and maybe a suspension upgrade soon on the horizon.

Those are the perfect wheel for the GX! At 23 lbs and $189 ea, they are a no brainer! I wish I would have waited until they were out. Now I'm looking to sell my Level 8's to pick up a set.

They look really nice but also like PITA to clean
The wheels are 17x9 0-offset; fitment is great!
What brand wheel? is that the MK6? Also give us the details. What lift and size tires?
Picked up my 120 series from the fabricator today… And ran straight to the tire store! BFG’s, 285 70 17’s
No lift.

285 70 17 is the tire size, plastic rubs a little nothing that can't be solved with a heat gun or a knife.
