On my way home this morning, after visiting a granddaughter near Nashville, I got a strong whiff of gear oil and somewhat panicked knowing I had another 8-9 hours to go to reach home. I calmed down when I saw the origin of the smell. 😁

THE GOOD NEWS….. 😁
After crunching the numbers, the event produced just shy of $8,300.00 which was approximately double the amount from last year. None of this would have been possible without the companies and individuals that donated significant amounts of cash and others who provided items (a number of which had significant value) for the raffle. A special shoutout to those that attended the event, many of which drove long distances to do so, and to those that opened their wallets to purchase raffle tickets.
We’ll be mailing a check to the ALS Association in short order. 😊

As in previous years, we’ll be submitting an article to “Toyota Trails” and will use a few of your photos to be included in the article. If you’re in the “Witness Protection Program”, this is your opportunity to let me know to not use your photos. 😁

Does anyone know if Juan made it home safely with the busted spring on his troopy?
What day did this happen?
I guess these photos from the Dropbox explain it.

If you attended this event, sponsored this event, or donated for the raffle, you should pat yourself on the back. In the 3 years that we have been affiliated with the ALS Association, we have doubled our contribution each year. None of this would have been possible without you guys. I’m particularly proud that a relatively small event like ours can post such numbers. 👍

WOW

Great job everyone!

If you have never attended the 70 Series Event each Sept, I highly recommend it.

The event not only supports a great cause, the attendees are first class, you get to check out a USA record for the most 70 Series in the same location (unofficial of course), and it’s a great opportunity to see an interesting slice of true Appalachia!

Thanks all for the support, looking forward to next year!
