Is it still just 100 trucks that are allowed? Wasn't there talks about making HIHX a bigger event after all those people were mad last year for missing out haha?

Nah, I heard those people formed their own event:ninja:

And the
Yeah..... lol we all remember that one.
Plus I think a few traded their newly purchased cruisers in on jeeps so they would never ever have to fear being left out again:(

I’m pretty sure everyone will have plenty of time to register...no need to be refreshing the page and having multiple devices ready...I’m sure it’ll take a day or two to even fill up.

We decided that ramping up wouldn’t be beneficial to the event or those who do make it. We’ve kinda got this thing right where we want it, so messing with it seemed like a step backward.
The statistics tell us that roughly half the participants each year are new, 1st timers. We are happy with that spread.

Oops. Replied to an oooold comms comment that wasn’t relevant anymore before I got caught up. Deleted.

I’ll vote for GMRS (I’m licensed and it’s cheap in the grand scheme of a trip like this), but I also have CB. Would be an awesome service to have someone at a booth ready to test and help tune anyone’s setup.
Friend, now is not the time for a coms discussion...

Good to hear. It’s dialed in just right! Although I might feel differently if I end up in the >100 pool of hopeful attendees.
