What an awesome trip!! That looks like it would be a whole lot of fun. You took some great pics as well. I read through the other thread on the regular 100 forum and it seems like it was a blast for everyone involved.

Yes, it was a great trip. Still can't get over the scenery up there. Even the drive back across CO was great.

Great pic from Black Bear.

Funny how it takes a new owner to get Shush's Cruisers off-road! One day we might actually see him on the trail.

Best quote on Mud this week!!!!

and by "him" you mean me ...not actually me in a toyota

(man I miss both those trucks:crybaby:)

Why don't you just keep one? That's the easiest thing to do. Hell these kids at work that go on orders have new lifted F150's, Z71's, boats, RZR's, houses and kids! I don't know how they do it!

My Black Bear POV video is ready and up on youtube. Shot from the dash of my truck with a GoPro Hero3. The truck in front is Nick/2000UZJ.

Trip was over 3 hours, so I ran it at 4x speed except for the steps and 2 switchbacks. Also had to break it into 3 parts.

Part 1 is the ascent plus some:

Part 2 is all the good stuff. The stairs start about 4:45. I slowed it down to real time for the good stuff here:

Part 3 is all the rest of the way down, switchbacks, Bridal Vail, etc:

Total runtime on all 3 is about 38mins...

After the trip and seeing everyone's truck what tire size would you run next?

Well there really are only 2 options except for a few random outliers...right?

It's either a 33 or 35" tire, with a couple different width options. I personally like the taller skinnier look on the 100.

What I'm probably going to do next year is. 275/70/18 in a more aggressive tread like the Trail Grapplers. Since this is my DD I'm not ready for 35s...

Unless Chris can tell me there is a 34" option?

That make any sense?

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD, and hopefully approved by the NSA.

They are in debt up to their ears..... As off 2 months ago I don't owe anyone for anything....at all.

Ill get another 40 now that I'm agr and out of debt. Gotta finish paper work on the house we just bought, then ill save a while and shop.
