Statistically, the lower-mid-income and below groups tend to be younger and less educated, overall. This also correlates with higher accident rates in general. And THAT relates to lesser driving competence and greater impatience on the road - again, in general.
So, typically, you see more aggressive and risky driving behavior exhibited by lower-cost vehicles. The worst offenders, among newer vehicles, tend to be the really cheap throwaway vehicles like Hundai, Daewoo, Suzuki, and the bottom-end eco cars from The Three (GM, Ford, DC).
The more expensive vehicles tend to be driven by older, more educated/affluent people with better driving habits and more patience. Again, in general. (Not counting those with ill-gotten gains and expensive hats turned sideways, with heavy gold chains and $10,000 subwoofers...)
The Sequoia is part of the broad mid-class of vehicles: Fairly offensive driving habits, fairly high quotient of "blind foolish impatience at all times", leading to habitual risky tailgating etc.
(I can even predict which neighborhoods the most impatient tailgaters tend to turn into, on the way home every day.)
