one could use the existing wiring then for an inside switch to the compressor etc ... although might be easier to run a new line than to figure out the existing harnesses...
Been there 12 months ago, finding the wiring starts and finishes in the harnesses is hard without an EWD to suit your vehicle, so I pulled the bottom off the main fuse box and pulled the control wire for the AHC relay (blank space for a relay in the main relay/fuse box) and taped it up and then put a single wire with spade terminal in it's place and came out of base of the box with the main harness to the compressor switch and pressure switch activated control circuit to turn the compressor on and off. The main power connector for this relay is sitting there ready for the compressor motor to be connected up to. Nice heavy wires direct from the relay via AHC fuse from main battery. Just plug a relay in and away you go.(I think the original fuse was 50A and I dropped it to 30 I think)
