100 IFS lCA bushing in frame removal tool

Hi,

The cruiser patch unit is apparently sold out. Any alternatives that don't cost an arm and a leg out there?

I made mine from the same items in the description of his ad:

That threaded rod, plus those long coupling nuts, and some various large sockets if I recall.

EDIT: I used Grade 5 all thread though. All available locally at the hardware store.

i drilled out the center section , and then used a sawzall to cut the bushing casing. just dont cut too deep! once you do this, it will releive the pressure adn the bushing will come out so much easier. then I used the rental tool from Autozone to press the new one in.

Any special notes I have to consider when doing this job on both the lower and upper arms?
