Good evening,

I do not know if anyone has come across this before. But it is kinda annoying.

Background:
I had the vehicle servied at local dealership for the recall last week. Prior to this, I had dropped off the vehicle to a local store for dash cam check (parked there over night).

I live in an apartment building with underground parking. Loving this as it literally saves my a$$ from 6-month snow cleaning.

Condition:
When I started the vehicle this morning, some noise came out of the glove cabinet. It sounded like some guy kicking the cabinet inside. So I checked the cabinet after work and found nothing special (didn't fully disassemble the cabinet, just up to where the filter is). And I also checked the engine bay in case something caught there. But there wasn't anything exept a surprise.

Does anyone know what's going on here? I attached the pictures and video for clarification.

Thank you,

Since you mentioned a recent dealer service and have an odd noise from the glovebox, I wonder if the tech broke the cabin filter flap linkage when checking the filter? It’s possible the clicking could be the flap mechanism trying to go from fresh to recirculate or vice versa. Put the HVAC in recirc and unclip the filter access panel in the back of the glovebox. Then see if the flap moves when you switch to fresh. Don’t force the flap with you hand.

I took a video and you are correct, the flap is vibrating.

Any idea what should I do? Thank you.
