Bought a 60k mile '06 Tundra yesterday.
Last night drove a 120 mile trip up I85. I noticed that the voltmeter was more active than I'm used to on vehicles of this vintage.
Even driving at a steady speed, with steady electrical load, the voltmeter had a tendency to fluctuate up and down a little.
Is this typical? Aside from being simply due to gauge behavior, the only other possible cause I know of would be brushes going bad/getting short.
