Is there a fix for the bubbling above the window control panel or do I have to buy an entire new door panel? Everything else on the door is in great shape, so hoping I will not have to replace it.

What is the part # for it? front passenger side

She just rolled over 100k miles so going to replace a few things to make her look nice for 100k miles

Thanks!

An auto upholsterer can sort that out. I doubt if it’s still available new and if it was it would be $$$. You could find a good used panel but it may end up looking the same in a few years.

Personally I wouldn’t worry about it.

I have taken to a few upholster and they say it is not fixable. I probably just need to be okay with what it is (I just love when everything looks nice or close to it).... you are right over 1k per door

I’ve got the same thing, same location. It looks like the interior vinyl material is delaminating. Not worth the effort to fix. You’d end up pulling apart a perfectly good surface just to get to this spot.

Take out the window witch and see if the separation continues to there. Next, hit it up with the appropriate super glue.

My old truck had that and it never got worse. Likely someone left the window down in some rain for too long.

Super glue would absolutely be the wrong thing to use here.

“Appropriate super glue” were the words used. Ie super glues branded for the purpose such as leather or upholstery super glue. The same stuff used to fix expensive leather dashes and door cards that bubble. I find most marketed upholstery spray adhesives to not have long lasting strength. Of those, permatex was my favorite. Of course you do not wanna melt synthetic plastics and leathers and you want something that is flexible and has depth. Load that favorite glue into a syringe and get in there.

And I might have to ask since your username is what it is, are you related to the spray adhesive of the same name? …
