Did you try to start it after the EFI fuse is replaced?
Yes sir, runs like a dream. Wife doesn’t trust the car and I’ve got a cache of 25A fuses on hand. I let it idle for about an hour yesterday and then decided to drive it for errands. No issues. I’m cautiously optimistic but will change my driving patterns until we know it was a random transient event. When that fuse goes, the car immediately loses all power and it’s damn dangerous.

I would look for short or damage wires around serpentine belt, drive shaft, firewall where harnesses enter cabin.
Medtro, I’ve dug around and can’t find any visual source for the blown fuse. We’ve got ~250 miles on her since and no issues. Runs better than ever with all the work done during TB replacement. Only thing I can attribute it to is that I “disturbed” the Throttle body when I pulled it out to clean just after the TB change. I used electric cleaner on connections and TB cleaner inside the TB and can’t remember if it was all dry before reconnecting. Also, wife was accelerating and I wonder if that acceleration on th EFI was enough amps to pop a 10a fuse in a 25a slot. We’re still in monitor mode but building confidence every day though our commutes. For folks tuning in, if the EFI fuse blows the starter will not turn over potentially leading to incorrect assumptions on diagnosis. I expected a starter to crank and a no start situation. That’s why I suspected a timing belt failure of some sort.
