I used to ask myself the same question 7 or so years ago when the vehicle was at 600 k km's and never could really resolve the issue in my head. According to the people at Berrima Diesel, if the motor does not have any blow-by it's ok to turbo it, but I'm a little hesitant due to the high life...

Upgraded to aftermarket turbo when doing the motor swap on my HJ75. 1HD-FT Used OEM Turbo, This turbo was in good condition, but not sure on exact mileage. $350

Hi there, Is there a reliable turbo kit available for this motor. If so please do let me know,looking for a kit which is a clean install. Rebuilding the entire motor starting from tomo would be perfect to do the turbo kit once the rebuild is done. Much appreciated for the help

Sold my 1991 Hilux a few months ago and wasnt able to sell the turbo kit with it.... so its been chillen just itching to jump into another HILUX!! wish i could have put er in and seen the difference but i never had the time. So best offer takes it (within reason) I paid $3500 i know ridiculous...

I have one of these B/3B turbo kits, complete. New manifold/gaskets, new turbo, new drain line and weld in bung for oil pan, exhaust turn down pipe from turbo flange, and everything else they sold with the kit. Project has gone a different direction. Turbo box was not even opened. Not selling...
