Thank's to Junk first, but the AC dryer relocation kit I have totally different than yours :flipoff2:

I'm about to install new bumper with the IPF HID S-9H11.Due to remove the stock AC dryer since hangs down low and hit the Fog light bracket, otherwise I wont be able to install the fog light in front of driver side. Now my questions, Was it hard or easy to remove the driver side headlight? Also any tips or suggestion for receiver / dryer removal?

P. S: The new kit will remove dryer completely from old stock location and will be mount right in front of the battery - pics

Thank you

Where or who did you pick that up from? Like to get my hands on a set up like that. Thanks:cheers:

Thats how my Aussie spec dryer is .Pretty sure all the same over here.Though I may be mistaken.

only real "trick" would be to remove the valance turn indicator to easily access the lower headlamp mounting bolt. the others are pretty easy to access. guess you'd be environmentally/politically correct by having a shop drain the coolant from the AC system as well vs just letting it leak into our atmosphere...

Looks cool and a slick mod to gain ground clearance - um, I mean clearance for your fog lights in your lowered ground-hugging air dam...:flipoff2:

Ditto that. Did you get it somewhere or make it up. I have thought about getting a shorter aftermarket dryer and tweeking the whole thing up a little. I've already caught my dryer once on some rocks. Didn't F it up, but it is a little cocked back now.

Not just that but there another trick, behind the driver side headlight / left side (U.S version) I don’t know if anyone of you notify it, actually there are 2 holes already in it, so the new bracket (the pic shown with red arrows) will mount right onto existing holes. No need drills or anything... ill tell you where I get the kit from after I install it and of course more pic’s :hillbilly

He might be pissed off that you are waiting until it's installed before you tell where you got it from. I think it's great that you found another way to relocate the AC dryer, and look forward to seeing pictures and finding out where you got it.:)

Why the hostility? Just because LX_TREME doesn't lift his LC like most members on this board? I for one really like what he has done to his LX. We can be different and still get along.

We all love LC and hate 'mud :)

LX - I'd like to see your truck sometimes. I'm near Pasadena often during my travels. PM me.

I don't think it's the truck or what he's done to it. I think it's the fact of not sharing the source info.

The dryer position has been an issue for a while and finally it might look like a perfect solution has been found and all we can do is admire it.

 So LX wants to verify that the mod actually works before sharing his source? He didn't say that he wasn't sharing, only to wait until after he has installed it.

Someone gets pissed off over that

yea, we are just ribbing LX. He takes it well and seems to be a great feller.

He just needs to share that classified information!! But really, it seems that it's not that classified, it's just OEM OZ hardware. Wonder if Cdan can get OZ parts?

To be honest, I'm a little annoyed too.

I'd prefer to have someone post up info and let me take the chance if it doesn't work.

This site is all about sharing info, not about who does what first. If you want the glory of being first, then don't post up teaser posts like this.

My ac dryer set up needs to be fixed very soon and this could be a great solution for me...but if I have to wait 'til who knows when...I'll likely need to reinvent something.

Not pissed, not hating, just a bit annoyed.

Sorry, LX_TREME, it was supposed to be a joke.

Watch it though. That's been done before only to have guys come back really ticked off about something not fitting. Just like airlaird accusing Landpimp of lying to him on the 80 list.

I'd recommend everyone wait to see if it actually works and fits first. Especially since the ac system would have to be recharged and that adds $$.
