Well I'm getting there
-I put the new FJ45 master cylinder on finally (I've had it for over a year)
-added a large FJ55 booster (very recent idea)
-added an antiwrap bar (I've had the parts for over 2 yrs)
-added an over sized washer bottle powered by an aux. toggle switch because last year I couldn't see out the windshield a few times
-new wiper blades (same reason as above)
-got an alignment done by an alignment shop (it was just easier this way)
-added a very large aftermarket rear heater (because warmth is nice)

still to do:
-Stereo and CB will be in Wednesday hopefully
-hopefully hook up the front air locker (I've been running a front ARB with no air/plumbing for longer then I'm willing to admit to)
-might even think about re-sizing my chains to fit 37"

Dan's going to be busy Wednesday!!

Cool.
I'm finding you can't (well, shouldn't) ignore your truck for 2 years then take off to Calgary! My to do list kept growing. Started with a nice stereo install (after 13 years of owning this truck it's FINALLY getting a stereo!). That's been 2 days so far. Today it's finish wiring the head unit, then new brake master cyl, front brake pads, new belts, replace a broken exhaust mount, new winch cable, change the oil and diff oil to syn, and maybe pack some clothes...
Really wanted to get my front locker in but there was just no way.

When we built my rear drawer we built in 3 compartments for woofers and a sub. Nice to finally get some speakers in the holes...

I don't feel so bad now
-I did my exhaust donuts on the weekend (hangers good)
-before Christmas I spent 2 days wiring up my rollcage with new RCA cables and speaker, moved my amp, started installing a second amp. Now I need to hook up the deck and power to the batteries

well, back to work

Last day to get ready!

I can't make it, I have a friends wedding this weekend, and I am helping with it.

If anyone here is driving through Cranbrook and wants to stop in, PM me your number or give me a call.
My cell is 250.489.8627
Please call after 5pm (Mountain Time).
They don't like me taking personal calls during work hours

If someone wanted to crash at my place that would probably be okay. Would just have to double check with my room mates.

Cheers,
Nick

Looks like I'll make it afterall...

I've got to pack up Prado, prep Mr. G & get Nurse Edna (the trailer) and then take both to work with me tomorrow. Do the assessment. Ditch the rest of my crew (our assessment is on the way) and head to Red Deer. There I'll see Bruce & Kodi. Sleep. Ditch the pooches with the parental units and drive to Calgary to ditch Mr. G. for Agent O (& possibly Random Dent), head out to Mockingbird Camp. Hang there with some homies for Friday eve., Sat., Sun. Monday wake up. Drive to Calgary, ditch Agent O for Mr. G., head to parental units home. Get Prado. Bid adieu to Bruce & Kodi & parents (again). Drive back to FSJohn. Go to sleep. Get up for work....

What a nice interruption this will be.

I can't believe it. Thanks to my excellent mechanic/jack-of-all-trades buddy, EVERYTHING on my list got finished today, and by 6pm at that! Otherwise I would have been bumming a ride with GB...
I'm really looking forward to this weekend!

dig the cool stereo mount my bud made - bye bye useless coin tray thingie!
