This was briefly discussed in another thread and I wanted to move it to it's own thread.

Looks like I'll be planning a camping trip with my daughter for the weekend of the 20th of November. I will probably drive up, on Sat AM, to my Mom's place in Chino Valley then follow her up from there to the property. Between her and my uncle we have about 60 acres to camp and play. There are also many easy trails/roads to sight see. The property is Approx 15 miles south of Ashfork off the 89 and about 8 or so miles west of the 89. This will be open to anyone who wants to join, but I am hoping that others will bring their kids, especially any daughters that are out there. My Mother and Stepfather will be joining us and I'm sure my Uncle would be willing to let us use the shower and facilities at his cabin/house. He lives up there fulltime and would surely enjoy some visitors. This is the weekend before Thanksgiving and I know many will be planning trips out of town for the holiday, but please come join us if you can.

Please post here if you might be interested.

Also... this is not an "OFFICIAL CLUB RUN" but it could be and it very well could become an annual event.

Dustin,
You're welcome to come up and join us. Borrow one of your neighbor's kids.

bwahaha!! i'll hafta let one of mine ride with RUSH.

ya know i happen to have 40 acres just a bit north of ashfork, AND it includes a big ass sinkhole and canyon with a whopper waterfall (dry most of the time) but i'm thinking of wheeling not looking at cascading water.

I'll have to catch this one next year. My little one will only be about a month old by then.

Don't want to give her CSBS ~ "Cruiser Shaken Baby Syndrome" ! :D

Great idea though- Hope it becomes annual.

Alright guys, it seems that we're getting a little interest on this one so I'll lay it down.

As of right now here's the plan. Assuming everything goes as planned with the arrival of my son on or before the 21st of October, this trip is a go for the weekend before Thanksgiving. This is the weekend of the November Cruiser Cruise Night. We'll hit Sonic on Friday night for usual festivities and such. I will be leaving Saturday 7am to head up the hill to Chino Valley. This should put us in Chino around 9:00 taking our time on the road. We'll hook up with my Mom and her husband at her place and continue up the hill to th property from there. With bsing figured in at Mom's this should get us rolling in around noonish. Plenty of time to set up camp and start throwin some shoes and Bacci ball. My Uncle also has a dirt volleyball court if thers enough of us. There's plenty of backroads to drive around exploring back there for those who might want to take in some of the High Sage landscaping of the area. There will be no official "Trail Runs". This is a kick back and enjoy the weather and the company type of deal for everyone. Bring your own food and drinks and means of cooking if you're not into the cooking over a campfire thing.

Also, the area is basically High Sage and Junipers. Not alot of heavy shade from the sun. Please bring your shade structures too, they'll prove invaluable to having a great weekend.

Again please post here if you're planning on joining us.

Anyone else interested? Just curious. I'm trying to decide how much of a deal this is gonna be.

Is it safe for me to assume that this is now a personal run and not a club event?
Since the 40 is down I am planning on camping out of the Taco which means no wheeling for me.

602-763-0529 before you leave. If you get through I can give you directions. If not I'll talk at ya later.
