I was just at a tag sale in town (Middlefield, CT) and a guy told me about someone named Spencer Yazek or something like that - he owns a 4wd shop in Wallingford CT that restores land cruisers.. anybody heard of him?

I know this isn't tech but I wasn't sure where to post it...
 
Yep, Spence is a young guy, does good work. Go to the Yankee Toys forum in the club section, and ask about him there.

His number is 203-687-0030. He is a great guy and he has a lot of parts and cruisers for sale, including an FJ45. It needs a lot of work, but the price is right.

and jeff your seats are in the de-rust tank as we speak.. i'll let you know how they turn out.
 
I want to buy the 45 it is complete but it does need quite a bit of attn.but that doesn't matter, It's another cruiser:DHe also has a 40 with a rear pto winch that looked all original and not in to bad of shape.He was just putting a 6cyl 12valve cummings in a 60 series:eek:
 
i'm from rockfall..(middlefield/durham) and another guy on here Spud is from middletown as well...

Whats up you all...I'm Sam from Middletown.

I had Spencer do some work for me in the Spring. Nice guy and fair.
I especially like the bit of Mod he did for my front bumper that was not 100% done, he added some pieces of material to finish it off and beef it up.

PM me if you need a hand with anything, may be able to help.

Any of you going to the FG? I will be going up for class 6 runs Sat & Sun.
 
I lived in Milford, CT for a short time. I wasn't a fan (of Milford).

Those seats should turn out nice, Ant.

I'm amazed at all the 'cruiserheads in CT!! I'm in Orange, CT.

I bought a 4-sp from Spencer a year or so ago. Recently got my '71 Pig back on the road, is there any set of trails I can try out without getting arrested in CT?

Nepaug Resevoir off route 202, might be a hike for you though.

CT seems to have a lot more Cruiserheads than MA. Maybe I'm missing the boat...
