After what seemed to be an eternity and asking around in the forums, i finally did it!!! My car is now officially a Rag Top! Here are some pics, lemme know what you think because i had to get a few things done and it doesnt look tight enough... anyone with experience or pics to compare, lemme know if the back is a little loose...

shink? how so? temperature changes? thats great news cuz it really didnt look like i could tighten it anyway....

What do you do with the back doors when you go top down?

Canvas will shrink a bit. Every boat top I have seen would shrink somewhat.

Looks very cool Alberto.

I was going to ask the exact same thing... If you ride topless, one would imagine that the back doors would put a lot of wind resistance.

How does it look without the canvas?

remove the rear doors and install a net...
or take a set of full doors and cut them down to make half doors..
or bend a piece of aluminum to follow the body lines and bolt it in...

I think I would do this if I lived in Cruiser rich country.

The net idea seems fine for bombing around though.

Truth be told... i havent really ridden around with no top yet, but im sure it would look weird, and create a lot of wind resistance... I will usually just roll up the windows in the back and ride with the top of the canvas on and the rest open... seems like too much of a hastle to take doors off and all that stuff (dont really know how to do it).

Lets hope it does shrink to tighten up a bit... i like the ride, it actually got a lot less top heavy and feels lighter.....
