FJ55 & FJ60 For Sale***SOLD***

As much as I hate to, a healthy tax burden and not enough time, are forcing me to sell my Landcruisers.

The FJ55 is a 1972, pretty much all original, and has been my daily driver the past few months. It has the typical rust in the lower front fenders and a small amount in the rain gutters. It could use a new clutch, the front bench re-upholstered, a dash cap and a new headliner. The F engine runs suprisingly strong, has a Weber 32/36 DGEV carb and a Pertronix electronic ignition. I put a new cap, rotor, wires and plugs in about 3 months ago. 1+ year old 900 amp battery. The PO put in aftermarket oil pressure and H20 temp gauges, so the stock ones are not working. Speedo, turn signals, lights, heaters all work. 3 speed trans and t/c both re-sealed 6 months ago. Fresh fluid in both diffs. Has clean AZ title.

The FJ60 is a 1985, with 147+K. 2F engine with 4 speed trans and t/c. It was hit in the front driver side corner. I bought it to upgrade the 55. The only frame damage is at the frame horn(see pics). It would need the fender, hood, core support, radiator, a/c parts, headlights, grille and ? to put back on the road. Broken engine mount (pass side) is being repaired. Has salvage title.
The interior, glass and body are all in very good condition. Has a roof rack, trick rear bumper and Tuffy console with a Denon CD player. It has aftermarket springs, shackles and shocks-I don't know the brand of springs/shackles-the shocks say "Nitro Power", the springs have stickers saying "Made in Canada". The engine has a HEI distributor a "Mean Green" alternator and a header.

I would prefer to sell both as a package for $3000. OBO

Have they outlawed Piggies in Tucson or something. There's three more of them on Craigslist right now. Too bad these all weren't for sale over Christmas when I was in Phoenix I could have checked them out in person.

Rex - Sent you an email, will try calling you this evening.

Tucson Pigs

I agree something has to be going on with Pigs in Tucson??? I just bought one of the ones on Craigs List down there (1978 red&white). I saw the sweet '79 with PS & AC but too much money for my project minded budget. There must be a herd (correct plural?) of Pigs driving or sitting around the town. The weather is kind to them there.

Pix forcoming when I pick it up.

Why can't you be in the south east? Looks like a great deal!

OffRoadRage-
Did you buy the one with the tow bar on the front and was a few different shades of white?
There's also another blue/white for sale down there! What's going on in that town?

Drew,
That's the one. I drove down and checked it out two days before Christmas but couldn't buy it until after I got back from a holiday trip. I hope to pick it up this weekend. It definitely needs some work but the body is straight (usual rust).

That '74 blue and white one is sweet! One of the nicer ones I've seen. The price reflects that. There are two other red and white ones on Craigs List for sale down there too. I think the '79 is the better deal but I haven't seen the truck.

I also have a '72 I'm going to parting with soon (too many vehicles). It'll make a good trail truck but not something you'd want to go original with. Not because of rust but because of dents.

Good luck with your search. Sounds like you might be headed Tucson for the Great Pig Exodus.
