In the photo album there is a scanned copy of their general price list which is broken down in three price columns- Car, Truck, Core. Use the magnifying glass icon to zoom in and hold your mouse button down to drag around the picture.

Good Parts (or parts that are still there ;) )
  • Front Axle looks complete (warn hubs) driver's side steering arm was removed and left on the front bumper (I put it under the driver's seat)
  • Rear Axle
  • Springs
  • Heater Components
  • Glass
  • Driver's side running board is in good shape
  • Both drive shafts
  • Transmission
  • Transfer case
  • Intake
  • Valve cover looked ok
  • Some knobs & switches
  • Dash had a few cracks but may be better than what you have now
  • Front Bumper looked good

If anyone needs any parts that will fit in my Subaru you can pay me the truck price on the price sheet (plus core) via pay pal and I could bring them out to a Bayou State meeting- You can buy me a beer or 12 depending on the work involved:D OR I will gladly help you pull some of the bigger parts if you want to drive out here.
Kudos to the good people at LA4x4- last night at the Louisiana 4x4 meeting, Jerome let me know about the cruiser.

Parts that might catch your eye, but probably aren't worth it-
Two gauge clusters - one was pretty rusty inside, other pretty beat up
fiberglass top had small holes in it, hard top in general was pretty shot
Driver's door was pretty rusty
Fenders were rusty
Seat belts were rotted

Awesome thanks Jason  I'd like to go pull the 2F and front axle.

I don't think the ds apron was there, but I can look in the back if you don't make it out. "?cowl ald/or ? floor pans and rockers???"are rusty but might be able to get, the other stuff shouldn't be a problem.

When you click on the magnifying glass, the image will be blurry for about 2 seconds and will be very visible- then hold down the left mouse button & drag around the image.

Thanks for the post Jason. Anyone planning on making a run over there? I would be interested in helping and can haul some stuff back in my truck. I can get a trailer also. If there is anything that we wouldn't want but would fetch a higher price on this forum or ebay, we could get the stuff and sell it as a fund raiser for the club. I'd finance that little project if the experts think it would be worthwhile. I bet the curved glass and a few other items might be worth snagging.

Thats awesome of you bud. I thought the same and would buy the whole truck if he'd sell it. I'm assembling parts for yet another trail rig and we could easily sell off or have the extra parts for club members. :)

Any updates/thoughts on getting the whole truck? I might be able to get out there sometime this weekend & bring some parts out for the next meeting

Thats awesome of you Jason I got a late notice from the wife of a wedding this weekend Sat and not sure I'll get to make it this weekend. If there is a number on the sheet I'll try to call him to ask about selling the whole truck. Either way when I go I need to take the trailer what I want is the drivetrain and front axle which I wouldn't want you putting in your car.

Sounds good! Number isn't on the sheet but I got this from google

Thanks bud, calling now. ;)

Deryl could go look at it and report on it for us, he's in the area. :)

Talked to Harold Guidry tonight and he was given a lead on a 69 FJ40 in Lake Charles an older man will be selling. It has been under a carport for the years he's owned it. He towed it down from Oregen when he moved to Lake Charles some years back. It runs and is in pretty good condition according to Harold. He is going meet with him tomorrow since he'll be there for work and will bring back the details and hopefully some pictures. Will post them here when he sends them. :)
