Probably tough for people to justify the price for negligible improvement over the US spec airbox. Definitely has the cool factor, does it free up enough room for a second battery behind the PS headlight, and does it interfere with the AHC for us LX guys?

I am not sure about AHC, but in regular LC it does free up space for 2nd battery.

yes, this will allow US Spec LX470's to run dual batteries, one in the stock location and the other behind the passenger headlight. Worth it if you do very long trips in the woods.

Yan, sorry it has taken me some time to get back to you. I had to decide finally what route to go. I think I am leaning towards buying the housing from you if you still have it. Will you take $450 for it shipped?

Also, you said that it included the filter. What is the part number of the filter included?

Finally, can you take a picture of the bottom of the round filter housing? I need to see what the bottom looks like to make sure it is what I want...
