Joe,

Here is how it came out so far. Thanks for letting me practice my TIG welding on this project. All we need is that final measurement, cut the piece and weld those last two pieces to this...

Couple weld shots. I'm definitely getting better with the whole foot control thing but still a long way from being where they need to be...

looks like a soon to be tire inside mount to me.

very nice Jerry. should go ahead and make two while you are at it. lol.

I thought we were having a design phase first! :p

Good work, and yes I'll need one also!

Joe had some time, knew he really didn't want to put it on the bumper, with Regina in Germany now on a 12 day trip, I needed a distraction so we got busy.

I've got a bit more to do before I expose it to the public, decisions like round vs square tubing considering getting another die to use the bender. But, I'm very happy with the direction and what I've got going as an option to the $200+ Stripper Pole...

Here is the project, completed (but for some paint), mounted, with our 0 mile 315/75/16 BFG KM2. Very happy with the final outcome, very solid, no rattle, 6 bolt installation, no holes drilled. You can come by and pick it up anytime...

Good googly-moogly that is awesome Jerry! I'll stop by Sunday late AM, I cannot wait to see the finished product! (and the 2nd prototype lol)

Nice work Jerry.

Thanks Eric, once I clean it up a bit, I'll actually show the mount...

I'm sure I can add a couple inches to the arm to fit those MASSIVE meats your running now.

I'm building one from start to finish in order to get an accurate measure of the "labor" involved. I'm guestimating it to be between 50-70% of the commercially available unit.

Of course, ONSC members will recieve a significant discount...:D

Took a few more shots during the day. Joe has it now, he plans on giving it a bit of paint before its exposed.

Clearance to the 2nd row driver side and tailgate...

I got the round tube bent up, cant wait to show it off, way cool...

Jerry, thank you again! I am absolutely thrilled with how this turned out in every respect - it is bombproof (literally), supremely functional, and the no-drill / use factory holes make it very very clean.

I'll post pix when it's painted. Has a nice coat of POR on it now.

I was very impressed and a slight bit envious of the beginnings of the tube version. That thing is going to be awesome!

Congrats Joe...That this is wicked cool.
