My issue ending up being the VSS in the TC, replaced and no more issues.

After reading all those threads, I need two switches to do a front locker only correct? One for the front locker engagement, and another to interrupt the rear locker signal, so the ECU allows it. Make sure to turn rear interruption off before engaging the rear..?

Just an update for anyone experiencing this same problem. Replaced VSS # 1 at the TC, everything works as it should now. Speedo, Tach, cruise control, no more low/dying idle coming to a stop. All is well.
