Ya know, back in the 80's Ford had a wind noise problem with their radio antennas's. if you look at them now they are wrapped with a spiral wire. We may be on to something. I installed the LED lights in the LC. It really makes a difference!

The rack was designed for a range rover sport. You can find them on 2006 model years and newer. I mounted it to the roof using Yakima Gutter mounts. It seems to be good and secure. Adding the foam to the front really has Quieted the wind noise. The front was rattle painted with a rattlecan but...

To cut down on wind noise I attached pipe insulation to the front of the rack. I'll let you know how it works

Here's a few quick transformation pics so far

While I had the cover off i still noticed a lot of surface rust. I removed almost every lot under there. Scribed and sanded an applied ungercoating. Turned out pretty good!

I also ( after much looking) I found pipe cone tires the seem to work just fine. Home Depot has galvinized fence panel clamps that bolt up perfectly. After I installed them I bulldozed them and shot them with plack paint too.

Yesterday I started dismantling the front bumper to get measurments for what type of bumger set up I will use. I started shaping off nuts and bolts. Had to replace most of them. Used stainless steel type. Since I had the bumper cover off I wast ahead and wet sanded it and shot it black like the...
