Another quick question. When installing the rear springs, do I leave the rubber pads in or remove them from the axle?

Little help. Can someone refresh my memory. It’s been a while. Does this look right. All my parts got mixed up and I’m trying to make sure I’ve got the right shackles up front. The one in my hand would go in the back. They look almost exactly the same. Thanks

Good to know. I briefly looked at 5-speed options and it’s just too much at this point. I’ve been reading up on trans coolers so I might go that route. For now I’ll follow your plan and ride the auto till she dies.

My grill was in pretty bad shape so I just sanded it down and painted it flat black.

Made some head way today. Started removing smog equipment. Cleaned up and painted a bunch of parts and installed my rear c-channels. For those of you who haven’t done your c-channels let me tell you it a hell of a job. All that being said I’m really enjoying working on the 62 again. Next up...

Upon further inspection, it would be a ton of work to get it to clear the driver's side motor mount. So hopefully, I'll pull the trans and engine sperate sometime next week. I'll do my best to take pictures and document as I go.
